2015 was a very special year because we celebrated Daffodil Day’s 25th birthday.
After 25 years, the passion, energy and enthusiasm of our volunteers and community still continues to amaze us in so many ways.
Standing on a street corner, receiving donations and hearing the wonderful, but sometimes sad, stories from our generous community is the most humbling experience.
People wore their daffodil this year for family, friends, neighbours, colleagues, doctors, nurses, research discoveries and better treatment.
A very special thank you to all the people who made this day so successful, including the schools, businesses, sports clubs, shopping malls, churches, building sites and individuals who together ensure the Canterbury-West Coast Division continues to provide care, comfort and help.
